London's O2 much fun

London’s O2 keeps giving us reasons to head over there this summer (despite the loss of the main attraction). Next up - Roller Disco.

Summer roller disco

Opening on Saturday 4th July and running until September 5th, Roller Disco at The O2, will be the summer attraction for family fun as well as a hotspot for clubbing on wheels. Roller Disco is brought to The O2 by the team behind Vauxhall based Roller Disco at Renaissance Rooms, so you’re guaranteed top tunes - a mixture of disco, pop, 80s and popular R&B.

The London Piazza, which previously housed the O2’s winter ski slope, is the location for the 900 square metre ‘mirror balled’ rink, big enough for as many as 350 skaters to strut their stuff at one time. Roller disco’s not just for roller experts – tickets include skate hire and the rink will be supervised by qualified and funky instructors, happy to give you a steady hand.

Themed music nights will take place to coincide with acts in the main arena. To coincide with American Independence Day and Madonna in the arena, music during the Roller Disco’s opening weekend will take on an all American theme. The planned ‘Michael Jackson’ nights may well go ahead, despite the news of his death.

Opening times -10am until 10pm from July 4th
Prices - £5 to £10 (depending on session time) family ticket for 4 at £25, all inclusive of skate hire.
