New Look's new Idol
New Look has an exclusive new label in its shops - Idol just hit the rails and it’s ‘rocking’. Labelled a ‘premium’ brand by the retailer (dress prices are closer to £40 than £20).
The range has a vintage rock look and feel with Billy Idolesque slashes, studs and marbled patterns feature heavily across sequinned boyfriend blazers, funky jumpsuits, denim and rock-themed printed tees and dresses. New Look’s also stocking Idol accessories and footwear, gladiator style stilettos, spike heel peep toe and chain adorned ankle boots.
Inspired by ‘80s rock icons such as Debbie Harry, Idol’s first collection is woven together by a series of intricate details – with a signature ‘Idol print’ running through dresses, jackets and bag linings. Beautifully-made, every piece of the Idol collection has a hand-crafted, customised feel. Idol’s planning to drop six collections a year - look out for the next one in November.
