Following the success of the African Fashion Collective at New York Fashion Week 2009, the designers set up My Asho (derived from the Yoruba word “aṣọ” meaning cloth and pronounced “ash-awe”) to connect global customers to the fast-growing African fashion industry. Visitors to myasho.com will be able to view and purchase items from their favourite African designers and receive purchased products anywhere in the world within 24 hours.

Aimed at women aged 18 – 35, myasho.com stocks items for every occasion including casual and evening wear, bags, belts and jewellery. Products on the Site are ethically hand-crafted and produced in limited quantities, meaning customers can always be assured to find high-quality, inspired boutique style pieces at very affordable prices.
