Naked Lady PR stunt
Are you a lady? Got your own horse? Ever wanted to get naked in Hyde Park? Here’s your chance. Up and coming film director Vicky Jewson has organised a naked horse ride – yes, the horses are naked, but so are the riders.
It’s all about Vicky’s debut film release, a modern day adaptation of the Lady Godiva story (summary: lady rides through Coventry naked, on a horse) set in Oxford. Phoebe Thomas, the ginger one off Holby city braves chafing to play a teacher trying to save her art school. It’s an English romcom made by a young woman who grew up watching far too much Bridget Jones while fantasising about posh boys that play with horses.
Vicky’s sister Libby will lead the ride, having already turned up to the Oxford premiere stark naked and mounted. The sisters are calling for your support as the event will also raise money for Maggies, a charity which runs support centres for cancer patients.
Vicky will be donating a fiver for each rider that turns up naked, though we’re quite sure she wiould make more out of charging every perv that turns up with a camera. Then again, the phrase ‘peeping Tom’ comes from the same story, where legend says Tom went blind because he was looking at Godiva’s bits (and you know what else might have contributed).
