Justice - A Cross The Universe

To accompany their forthcoming and rather brilliant DVD, ‘A Cross The Universe’ Justice are releasing an equally brilliant live album of the same name.

Justice - A Cross The Universe

Recorded in Chicago during the band’s second tour of the U.S, it completely captures the excitement of the shows with live interpretations of all the songs from their debut album, plus ‘We Are Your Friends’, and a cover of Soulwax’s ‘NY Excuse’.

So if you’ve not been lucky enough to see Justice in action so far this is the next best thing. The album will be sold with the DVD but can also be purchased digitally.

‘A Cross The Universe’ the film is directed by multi-awarded directors and long time friends of the band Romain Gavras and So-Me. Gavras also directed the controversial but brilliant ‘Stress’ video as well as DJ Medhi ‘Signatune’, Simian Mobile Disco ‘I Believe’, and Last Shadow Puppets ‘The Age of the Understatement’.

‘A Cross The Universe’ came about after Justice had spent 18 months touring and experienced all sorts weird, surreal, fascinating and horrendous incidents on the road – a lot of which had to be seen to be believed.

So as they were about to tour the USA for the second time, they decided to bring along Romain and So-Me to video every second of that 3 week tour that looks like it lasted 3 years.

The documentary is all about the extraordinary things that can happen when a bunch of frogs gets dropped in dreamy America. And this CD is testament to how cool Justice's live show is.

The ‘A Cross The Universe” DVD and CD will be released on Because Music on 24th November 2008.
